Rules & Officiating

Northern Attack Officiating Tips:

  • Don't be afraid to call a replay if you're unsure what happened. It's far better than guessing.

  • Own your mistakes. If you realize you made the wrong call, acknowledge it and apologize. Coaches and players respect honesty.

  • Make your calls with confidence. Even when you're still learning, project confidence. Fake it 'til you make it! (but don’t be a jerk). Confidence helps the match run more smoothly.

  • Treat others the way you want to be treated. The teams you referee will be officiating one of your matches next. Be fair, be respectful, and always do your best.

  • Enourage your players to be honest. If there was a touch and the other team is yelling for a touch; teach honesty.

Use this form to start the background screen and training process. Background screen and training is $27 and is good for one year.
